Been away from this for a long time now.
I had a great summer and fall fishing the Deschutes, and chasing Carp in the gorge. I have been trying to figure out how to catch the elusive winter steelhead here on the Hood river. Nada yet though.
I have somehow become the President of the Columbia Gorge Fly Fishing club this winter. I am hoping to sort of set a fire under the members to get back into it, as the group seems to have lost interest. Hopefully we will have some fun outings and good speakers to get things rolling. I will also try to post things here as they happen for the group, plus I am preparing a new website for the group.
Anyway, I had to write something to get myself back into making reports. Later for now. dpstar
